– Advanced Excel training: participants will learn how to save a table to PDF, convert a delimited text document (CSV) to a table, use guided pasting, insert and manage comments, conditional formatting, create drop-down lists, use statistical and logical functions, use search, text, database, financial and mathematical functions, use locked cells, sheet protection and nesting.

presentation of the project content:
The goal of our project is to increase our productivity, capacity, and revenue by maintaining our subcontractor base while securing our production. We are establishing a new tailoring and photo studio at our Bp location. Our current operations: collection design – purchasing raw materials – handing over the pattern to the subcontractor – sewing – handing over the clothes to the marketing studio – photography – delivery to the store/warehouse.
Following the development, 40% of the quantity currently sold will be made in our own sewing shop, reducing our subcontractor exposure to 60% and then starting to increase with the supply of new stores.
We are setting up our own photo studio to take photos at the production site, thereby reducing our expenses, speeding up web sales and the creation of marketing materials, and adapting to the transformation of the market structure.
The pandemic situation put our company in danger, our smaller contract manufacturing subcontractors filed for bankruptcy one after another, and the import of foreign (textile) suppliers and foreign sales became impossible.
Centralization has become essential. We managed to maintain the jobs of our own employees by reducing working hours at the expense of our development framework. The implementation of our project eliminates these negative effects, the wage subsidy enables job creation, the design of our studio makes sales secure instead of the previous vulnerability, the marketing consultancy aimed at personalizing our brand brings with it the expenses of the 2021 autumn marketing campaign, and the design of our tailoring results in increased capacity and centralized operation. Our acquisition of information and communication equipment enables the digitization of our tailoring patterns and designs, photography, editing and planning.
Automation also plays an important role in our case, by purchasing high-quality cutting tools, manual labor becomes efficient and semi-automatic. Our most important task is to increase productivity, which is the basis for market expansion and strengthening our income-generating ability. All this can be achieved by creating our own production capacity.
We have learned from the past that high levels of exposure to subcontractors are life-threatening. By establishing our own sewing shop, the supply chain and delivery routes related to production are shortened, as less outsourced production and services require less transportation.
